Autumn Flu/Covid Campaign 2025

Bookings are now being taken for your flu and covid jab here at the surgery.

Our clinic dates are:

Saturday 4th October 8.15am to 2pm for those aged 65 years and over.

Saturday 11th October 8.15am – 1pm for those aged 65 years and over and aged 6m – 64 years who are immunocompromised.

Please contact reception to book your slot as we only have limited numbers of vaccines.

Please note the eligibility criteria has changed this year

Flu:

Everyone aged 65 and over.

Pregnant women.

Individuals aged 6m to 64 with clinical risk factors.

Carers, either receiving carer’s allowance or acting as the main carer for someone with a disability or who is older.

People who live with someone who has a weakened immune system.

Covid:

Adults aged 75 years and over

individuals who are immunosuppressed aged 6 months and over

This represents a change from the autumn 2024 programme, which also included adults aged 65 to 74 and all those aged 6 months and over in a clinical risk group.

The eligibility is the same across the 4 nations of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland).

The vaccine should usually be offered no earlier than around 6 months after the last vaccine dose.
